Year 3 Curriculum
At Parkside Primary, our primary focus is fostering each child’s independent skills, preparing them for the challenges ahead, so they can become responsible, respectful, and compassionate members of our society. Year 3 marks a significant milestone in a child’s educational journey as they transition from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2.

Our rich, broad curriculum incorporates academic, creative, and hands-on experiences that are linked to the real world.
The inspiring and creative themes embedded in our curriculum establish relevant connections between subjects, enhancing knowledge and skills over time. This integrated approach encourages each child to make connections between different subjects, thereby aiding their ability to retain information and deepen their understanding.
