Meet our Year 2 team and find out how we work together and with your children to give them the best learning opportunities. Year 2 Curriculum
In Year 2 the children are in the final stage of Key Stage 1.
During this time, the children will show more independence as they are readied for their transition into Key Stage 2. Year 2 children will read with more fluency and begin to develop their story voices. In maths, they are able to use mental calculations with greater confidence and begin to learn the times tables; which will help them to solve problems.
They continue to build up their subject knowledge as they are exposed to new subjects.
