Celebration Assembly
At our weekly Friday celebration assembly which was led by Miss Ashley we enjoyed seeing the work children from every year group completed this week.
We learnt that year 1 had enjoyed sorting out objects that are from the past and the present as part of their history project. Year 2 children built their own structures in DT using glue, cardboard and sticks. Year 3 enjoyed writing persuasive letters about a rage of objects linked to their history topic. 4 Rowan shared with the school their River Nile homework and children in 4 Aspen continue to learn about 2D shapes and parallel lines. Year 5 shared with the school their diary entries whilst Year 6 Oak have enjoyed writing setting descriptions based on the book Alma. Our very own Year 6 PE Ambassadors talked about their roles and responsibilities which was lovely to see. We were all impressed by such amazing learning in the school, keep it up Parkside!
