They have been writing party invitations in class.They have enjoyed learning about postmen and women. They have been looking at different books about bats. In Maths they have been working hard learning about addition facts using Think 10. In history they have been learning about Kings and Queens and all their important job roles. In science they have been learning about the seasons of the year, Autumn, Spring, Summer and Winter. We all enjoyed your assembly
Children and staff had a lovely afternoon, well done to both classes.
As part of our school initiative to improve attendance, our monopoly board has a variety of treats for classes who achieve over 95% attendance for the week. Attending everyday counts.

We would like to invite our Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 families to join us in the school hall on Thursday 21st March at 8.45am- 9.15am. It will be a chance for you and your child to share one of our library books and a spot of breakfast together in the warm, away from the chilly weather outside!
Please drop your children to their classroom to be registered and then make your way round to the office to be signed in. You will meet your child in the hall.
If you cannot attend please feel free to ask another family member to attend in your place. We will provide the books, snacks and drinks.
The children delivered informative dialogues and put up a captivating performance by singing their ancient Egyptian song. The children sang beautiful songs that transported us back in time to the era of the pharaohs. To further immerse themselves the students showcased handmade Egyptian necklaces, which they made with great attention to detail. To finish the assembly, the classes demonstrated their musical skills by artfully playing the ukulele, adding a delightful element to the assembly.
Well done to all the children in year 3 , you did brilliantly and should be so proud of yourselves!
The children from Reception to year 6 interacted with a fast pace fitness session, including Spotty Dogs, Mountain Climbers, Push ups and Star Jumps. After this we all gathered into the hall to learn more about Steve growing up and that with all of his achievements he never gave up, Steve ended our assembly with Gymnastics skills. The children loved the afternoon and engaged very well.
The boys played really well as a team. Lost 1, Drew 1 and Won 2. Player of the Tournament, Leo.
We look forward to seeing Parents and Carers for Book and Breakfast with KS2 next Thursday Morning.
