First Class Assemblies

February 16, 2024/in General News/by Mark Pedrasa

A huge congratulations to 2 Willow and 4 Aspen for sharing their learning during their class assemblies.

Last Friday, Year 2 shared their knowledge and understanding of what they learned in Science, when looking at different materials and in Geography, when learning more about the United Kingdom.

Today, it was 4 Aspen’s turn to shine and they didn’t disappoint, as their wealth of learning linked to times tables, descriptive writing, poetry, History, DT (Sewing) and Mental Health was abundant throughout.

Thank you once again to all the families/carers who came to support their children last week and this morning, we are all very proud of the children and the great community we have here at Parkside.

3 Note Blues: Music with Mrs Ward

February 16, 2024/in General News/by Mark Pedrasa

Over the past 5 weeks, 4 Aspen have been using the chime bars and the glockenspiel to complete their 3 note blues tune.

The children have persevered and even moved on to adapting the 3 note blues to incorporate notes of their own choice to add some individuality to the music.
