As part of our Off Curriculum week, 4 Aspen visited the Croxdale Borehamwood and Elstree Synagogue on Wednesday to learn more about our community and for many of our children, more about the Jewish faith. The children were very respectful and a credit to Parkside.
Monday Afternoon Year 5 got to explore the local area on the way to Borehamwood Library. Children got to explore different book types/genes. Reading is a lifelong skill that improves memory, builds a robust vocabulary and foundation of knowledge. Keep up the hard work Year 5!

Year 4 Yoga. Today the year 4 children got to attend a session with Caz Devall where they enjoyed yoga poses and different games to help with concentration and focus.
Year 6 have had an amazing day at Hertfordshire University this afternoon (Friday) experiencing different careers from a range of Medical careers, Geology and film making into law. They have been looking at a case and finding all the evidence to take into the courtroom for a trial.
