Year 6 Home learning 2.4.20

Good Morning Year 6,

Remember to keep active so continue to support and join in with Jo Wicks PE sessions from 9am. – or maybe do your own version, record it and send it over.  There is still time to send over some of your written work outs for me to try out tomorrow.

Maths: I thought for today and tomorrow it would be good to focus on our mental arithmetic work, so attached below is a arithmetic test for you to work on.

Literacy: There is still time to send over your Suffragette and Suffragists information booklet or presentation.

Spelling:  Continue to learn the Year 5/6 spellings, which can be found on the Year 6 page of our school website. Get your parents to pick 5 spelling words and dictate a sentence for you to write.  Make sure you punctuate your sentences correctly too.

Reading: Continue with Chapter 2 in our online reading of Suffrajitsus. You still have till tomorrow to complete all the tasks set plus the documents I have attached below. This will also give you time to make sure you have completed Chapter 1 too.

ART: (Graffiti) focus on our name then decorate around it with things which are important to you, could be a football if you love football, or pencils/paints if you like Art, try to keep it to pictures around your name for it to have more impact. Some examples are inserted below.
