Good Morning Year 6, hope you had a lovely weekend.
Let us kick off this week with another assembly. This week’s assembly is all about Discovery. The Oak academy had an interview with the first British astronaut, Helen Sharman, she’s talking about her experience of a lifetime when she visited the Mir Space Station.

ICT: On Purple Mash they are running a games design competition, so bellow I have attached the instructions and what they are looking for. I will give you a week to get started and hopefully I’ll be able to send in some of your entries. You can submit your work by putting it to the Display Board for the category they are entering. https://www.purplemash.com/#tab/pm-home/games_design_comp_2020
*** You can save and edit your work as often as you like before submitting – it should only be submitted once it is completely finished.
The Display Boards will be visible to the public, so it’s important not to include personal information in your entries. Don’t use names or other personal information as part of the designs. Any submissions that include personal information won’t be accepted or displayed on the board. The only information visible on the board will be the school name.
Have fun and we look forward to seeing your work later.
