It’s Tuesday and here are your activities to complete at home today!

Spellings:

Spellings for this week: (they are same as last week, practise makes perfect!)

aggressive, exaggerate, sufficient, marvellous, attached, immediate, occupy, according, opportunity

Write each word using rainbow writing (each letter in a different colour)       

 

Maths:

Task 1:  Number Puzzle: look at the value of each letter, which animal name has the largest value? Numbers Puzzle

Task 2: Watch this video about dividing numbers by 10. https://vimeo.com/475398155

Then have a go at answering these questions. Divide by 10.

 

Reading:

Using your favourite book or story, choose to either:  Poster or Picture.

  • Create a poster to advertise the book/story. Remember to include why people should read it, the title and the name of the author.
  • Draw a picture of one of the settings in the book. Write words and phrases from the book around the picture to describe it

Make sure you are completing your reading record everyday – we will check this when we’re back in school!

English:

Linking to the BREAKING NEWS of your creatures escaping, many people have described exactly what happened.  Imagine you are one of the people to have seen this strange creature, write a diary entry about what you saw. Remember to include a range of conjunctions in your writing! Use this template : Diary Template

PHSE:

Bubbles of gratitude! 

As you colour each bubble, think of something that you are grateful for. Thinking of these things helps make us feel calm and happy! PHSE
