We can see that some of you have been able to access the class blog on Purple Mash and the online resources. Keep up the great learning!
Here are some activities for you to complete at home today.
Spellings:
Group1:
blue, glue, clue, true, flute, tune, use, excuse
Group 2 and 3:
possible, grammar, opposite, through, ordinary, particular, possession, separate, special, remember, different, believe.
Use this sheet to practise your spellings words – which word gives you the highest Scrabble score?
Maths:
Can you identify all of the names of the shapes and complete the sheet – think carefully about what the missing vowels could be. Answers will be revealed tomorrow! Vowel-less Shapes

Reading:
Read the short story attached called ‘Kidnapped’. Then have a go at answering the 5 questions we have set for you about the story. All the answers can be found in the text!
English:
Task 1: how many words can you make from these letters? What is the highest score you can make? Word Puzzle
Task 2: choose a setting, character, object and keyword and let you imagination run wild. Think creatively and write an amazing story based on the words you have chosen! Story Writing
ICT:
Look through the ‘Children’ database on Purple Mash and answer the questions about this database. This has been set for you as a 2Do.
Keeping Active:
Make sure you take regular work breaks! This website has 5 minute videos that you can follow to keep you active!
