You are going to start reading a new text today called ‘Serpents of the Nebula’. Read Chapter 1 and 2 today and complete the multiple choice quiz afterwards.
Task 1: Linking to the space theme of our new reading book, how many words can you make from the letters of the word ‘constellation’? Mon-word finder
Task 2: At the end of chapter 2, the children find themselves spinning out into space and heading towards HMS Horizon. Will they land safely, or will they hurt themselves? What kind of state will HMS Horizon be in? Will they bump into anyone they know? Continue the next part of the story. This has been set as a 2Do for you today.
As it was International Family Day on Friday, we thought it would be a lovely idea for you to create a family tree. You can use this template or create one of your own. On each leaf, write the name of the family member, their age and their relationship to you e.g. mum, brother, aunty, cousin etc. We look forward to seeing the finished creations! Family Tree PSHE
