Spellings:

Group1:

You are focusing on the prefixes in-, im-, ir- and il- this week. How do the prefixes change the meaning of the root word?

Group 2 and 3:

This week you are focusing on words that have silent letters in them.

Reading:

We’re going to read the last chapter of ‘Ted and the Flying Fruits’ today. Read the chapter 6 and complete the multiple choice quiz afterwards.

English:

Task 1: Can you find all of the mistakes and the correct them in the postcard?

Task 2: Having read all of the book ‘Ted and the Flying Fruits, we would like you to write a review about it. What did you like best about the story? Who was your favourite character and why? Is there anything you would change about the story? We have set this as a 2Do on Purple Mash for you.

 

ICT:

Can you create a game to catch the point scoring objects? Watch the example game to give you ideas, think of a theme and let your imagination run wild! It could be set in space and be ready to catch aliens, on a desert island, ready to catch the ripest coconuts. This is a 2Do for you on Purple Mash.
