Maths:

 

Task 1: How many questions can you do today? Start with the Bronze, move to Silver and then complete Gold, if you’re feeling like a challenge. Send us your answers and we’ll let you know how many you got correct!

 

Task 2: You are going to focus on 3D shapes, reflection and translation this week.

Today you are going to complete lessson1:  regular and irregular polygons.

Reading:

 

You are going to read a book called ‘The Haunting of Rose Cottage.’

Today we would like you to read Chapter 1 and complete the online quiz.  This has been set as a 2Do on Purple Mash for you.

 

English:

 

Task 1: Take the quiz and see how many you can get correct. This quiz is focused on identifying what a preposition is and how they are used in a sentence.

Task 2:

Just as Cally did in the first chapter of the story, imagine you have moved into a new home. Choose a picture and imagine you have moved there. Write a detailed description of the house. Remember to look the ‘Think about’ box to help you with ideas. This task has been set as a Purple Mash 2Do today. (task linked to chapter 1 of book)
