Then have a go at answering these questions.
Reading:
Continue to read our book this week is called ‘The Great Marvello’ and today, we would like you to read Chapter 2 and complete the multiple choice quiz afterwards. This has been set as a 2Do on Purple Mash.
Remember to look at the underlined words as you read the text. These are words you may be unfamiliar with and if you hover over the word, it will tell you its meaning.
Make sure you are completing your reading record everyday – we will check this when we’re back in school!
English:
Have you ever been on an exciting journey?
We would like you to write a paragraph to describe a journey you have been on. As a challenge, can you include some fronted adverbials at the start of your sentences?
Read through the success criteria on the word document and aim to include each of them in your writing today. You can complete the task on the document or print it out and send us a photo of the completed work. It is also been set as a 2Do on Purple Mash, if you wish to complete it online.
PSHE:
It’s a new year and time to think about what was successful in 2020 and how you are going to make 2021 even better!
