Well done those of you who are completing the set activities that we assigned last week. Remember to log in to Purple Mash and Times Tables Rock Stars to complete your set activities, you will find different activities assigned to you every day that are due at the end of that same day or week. Please check when each task is due and do not forget to SAVE the task once that you have completed it so we can check it.

We would like you to complete lesson 2 for Summer Term Week 3 – multiply 4 digits by 2 digits. Watch the clip about this learning then answer the questions in the activity section.
The answers are also available so you can check your work once you have completed it – no peeking before you have completed the questions!
We would like you to answer the following questions about Chapter 2 that you read yesterday.
Task 1: use a dictionary to find words for each of the clues.
Task 2: We would like you do complete this online lesson from the BBC Bitesize website focused on Alliteration. https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zf3492p
Geography: We are going to continue our topic about Mountains, and this week we are going to be focusing on Mount Everest. Read through the powerpoint that is going to give you some information (or find some facts of your own).
Then, write either a letter or a postcard home, imagining you are at the top of Mount Everest.
- What facts can you include?
- How tall is Mount Everest?
- What animals did you see?
- How did you feel when you reached the top?
- Was it difficult? Why?
- Draw a picture of yourself at the of Mount Everest or the Himalayan Brown Bear, Fox and Pika
