Task 2:

This week our English tasks are going to be focused around this short video, called ‘Catch It’.  https://www.literacyshed.com/catchit.html

Choose either a meerkat or vulture and complete some research it and choose a way to present it (fact file, poster, mind map, report, record a nature documentary in the style of Richard Attenborough!)

Research questions:

  • What kind of animal is it?
  • Describe its appearance
  • Where does it live?
  • What does it eat? How does it catch/get its food?
  • Include an interesting fact or 2!

Something fun!

We are going to set you another project for the week, focused around the theme of ‘the ocean’.

Have a go at creating a collage of the ocean. This can be on a piece of paper or 3D! You can paint, draw, use coloured paper; the possibilities are endless!

Here are some ideas:

Think about the animals that could be in the collage (link this to your research from last week), the types of plant life you may see in the ocean, using different shades and textures to create the patterns of the ocean!

Keep in touch – remember any work you have completed can be emailed to us to be marked. This can be typed work or a photo.

Stay safe.
