Year 4 – Home Learning 5/1/21

Good morning everyone,

I know that this is not the way we expected to begin the Spring term, but I hope you and your family are well and safe. I also hope that you have had a great Christmas and New Year’s and are ready to get back to some learning.

Everyday I will post a variety of activities that I would like your child to complete over the day. There will be a range of activities as well as a range of subjects. Everyday there will be Maths, English, Spelling and Reading to complete.

Please keep in touch with me via my email below. Send through any work that your child has completed as well as any questions or support you may need. I will have access to my emails throughout the typical school day.

Geography:

We should be starting our new Geography Unit this term: Rivers.

Go through the PDF that is attached below (this is the SMART that we would have gone through in class):

Knowledge Organiser

Any questions that you come across you could write down some answers or discuss them with someone at home. When you come across the Knowledge Organiser, spend some time reading the information as this is all the things you will learn in this unit.

For this lesson there are a variety of challenges to choose from. Choose the challenge best suited to you:

Challenge One

Challenge Two

Challenge Three – explained on the PDF

I hope you have a wonderful day and are keeping safe.
