Complete Lesson Two – Multiplying 3 -digit by 1- digit on White Rose (Summer Term – Week Three) – https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-4/
You will see that there is a short video that you can watch with your child and an activity to download and complete (we will also attach a downloaded version below). You will also see that there are answers attached if you would like to assess your child’s understanding.
Please email the completed work to your child’s teacher.
Please continue to practise your times tables with the 2do set on Purple Mash.
English:To spell words with the prefix ‘non’ and the prefix ‘anti’.

Reading:
Read Chapter 5 of Animal Boy (the story has been set on Purple Mash for the week).
Complete the Open – Ended Questions below.

Spelling:
These are your spelling words to learn this week:

NB: On Friday, test your child on how they have done with learning to spell these words.
Task One – Begin by practising spelling these words with the look, say, cover, write, check task on the worksheet below.
Task Two – Use the worksheet below, to investigate which of your spelling words is worth the most points.
Geography: In geography you have been learning about Mediterranean Europe. So far you have placed the following countries onto a map of Europe – Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Turkey, Southern France, Malta. These countries can also be described as having a Mediterranean Climate. Today you will be identifying the features of a Mediterranean Climate. Carry out further research if you wish.

Task two: Use pictures and words to design a poster that illustrate all that you have learnt about a Mediterranean Climate.
