Tuesday 9th June 2020
Good morning everyone,
We hope you had a lovely weekend, are doing well and looking after yourselves.
Please remember to keep in touch with us using our emails. I (Miss Daglish) will be in school full time supporting a small group of children. I will do my best to respond to emails as quickly as I can but if you have any immediate questions or concerns, please direct these to Mrs Banton.
Look after yourself and have a lovely day!

All these tasks can be found by using the link above.
Reread Chapter 2 of A Sheep Dip to India which is available to read on Purple Mash.
Complete the open ending questions about the chapter that is attached below.
Remember to read your own book everyday (reading helps us develop fantastic language for our own writing!)
These are going to be your spelling words to learn this week:
Dangerous, hazardous, poisonous, riotous, mountainous, perilous, joyous, momentous, synonymous, scandalous
NB: On Friday, test your child on how they have done with learning to spell these words.
Task One: create a word search using your spelling words for this week. This can just be done on paper at home.
Task Two: challenge yourself to find more words that end in -ous. How many can you find?
Todays learning will be on Weather and Climate – https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zbwckmn
Everything you will need to complete this lesson can be found on at the link above.
You will have two videos to watch and some information to read before you can start the tasks. The tasks can be found on the webpage, but they will also be linked below:
Task One – complete the quiz to show what you have learnt during this lesson.
Task Two – Cut out the picture cards and climate statement cards. Match the picture cards to the correct climate statement cards.
