https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRsmuveKWuk

Task: To retell the story

Summarise the main events of the story and retell them in order by sequencing six or eight sections to summarise the book as a storyboard. Write a few sentences to describe each section of your storyboard. You must use the following phrases: then, after that, to her amazement, suddenly, moments later while retelling your story.

You can use one of the storyboard templates.

PSHE:

Answer it in a few sentences neatly in joined-up handwriting.

Colouring activity: You can draw your own fonts or use the colouring sheet given.

PE:

Do some warm-up exercises: on the spot jogging for 1 minute, pause for 30 seconds; then, 10-star jumps and pause for 30 seconds again.

Relax, close your eyes, and observe your breath. Take a few deep breaths and relax; this is an exceptionally good exercise during this COVID pandemic time.

Now look at the Yoga pose mat and try various yoga poses. See how many yoga poses you can do.

Ask an adult to take a photo of yours and email it to me.

Keep in touch – remember any work you have completed can be emailed to me to be marked. This can be typed work or a photo.

Stay safe and take care.

Warm regards,

Mrs Kapoor
