Good Morning, Year 3!

This week, we will be looking at a new animation called The Wishgranter. Watch the video here then create a story board to show what has happened from start to finish. You can use as many boards as you want.

Here is an example of a storyboard:

You have all worked so hard to improve your times table knowledge. Watch this video to help you learn the three times table if you are still unsure… I think this song is super helpful and fun as I love the original Bruno Mars song.

7 x 3 =           11 x 3 =             6 x 3 =               8 x 3                  12 x 3 =

If I know 10 x 3 is 30, what will 100 x 3 = ?

24 ÷ 3 =           39 ÷ 3 =              12 ÷ 3 =                18 ÷ 3 =                   27 ÷ 3 =

If I know 15 ÷ 3 = 4, what will 150 ÷ 30  = ?

In the United Kingdom, we might not have a famous rainforest, but we have a lot of woodland. One particularly historic woodland is Sherwood Forest (you might recognise the name from Robin Hood). Today’s task is to research two different woodlands: the Amazon Rainforest and Sherwood Forest in the UK.

Use these fact pages to retrieve your facts from: Forest Fact Sheets

Create a poster split into two sides, one side for each forest. Write up key facts using the success criteria and try to make your poster both eye catching and informative.

Success Criteria:

-river(s) passing through

-plants found there

-animals found there

-famous for…

Take care and stay safe
