Reading:
Log in to Purple Mash and read Chapter 2.
Copy and find out the meaning of the difficult words from the text.
Writing:
Learning objective: To be able to spell regular and irregular verbs correctly
Task 1: Match the regular and irregular verbs.
Task 2: Choose either challenge 1 or challenge 2
- Challenge 1: To fill verbs in the blanks.
- Challenge 2: To write a short paragraph, including verbs investigated, from when the girl enters the castle to seeing the bird trapped.
- You must use a variety of regular and irregular verbs and underline the two forms in different colours.
History: This term, our history topic is ‘Ancient Egypt’.

Task:

Challenge 2: Read the information text carefully and write information about Howard Carter in your own words. What did he discover?
