Year 1 Home Learning Timetable 18.05.2020

Good Morning Year 1,

It’s been another good weekend, we hope everyone is keeping safe and well?

How are your sunflowers getting on? On Friday you should have filled in page 3 of your Sunflower Diary, if you haven’t done this yet please do and send a photo of your work to your class teacher. Don’t forget to keep watering this week, it’s going to get very warm and we don’t want your seedlings to dry out.

The Home Learning Timetable for this week is here

Home Learning timetable 18.05.2020

The RWI set 2 and 3 videos are available on every day.

You can use the education city site to search for a phonics activity to practise the sound we have learnt, or look for an alphablocks episode instead to watch. Listen out for all the words that use that sound and write them down – you could then put these into silly sentences!
You could choose sounds from the last couple of days and think of 6 words that has each sound, you could then use these words to make a bingo grid and challenge your family to a phonics Bingo!
Parkside has joined the White Rose subscription.
The way to access the videos has changed, please look here for the links to the daily lessons, or follow the hyperlinks from the Home Learning Timetable.
The worksheets for the daily lesson practise are here
We are starting a new DT unit – Where does our food come from?
We will bee looking at different foods and learning about its origins such as farm or factory and which animals give us foods.
