Headteacher’s Newsletter – Friday 19th November 2021 – Autumn 11

THERE HAVE BEEN NO RECORDED CASES OF CORONAVIRUS REPORTED AT PARKSIDE COMMUNITY PRIMARY SCHOOL THIS WEEK.

This week has been Anti – Bullying week across the nation. The children have learnt about the power how one kind word can have on a person’s situation. Safeguarding workshops, assemblies led by the NSPCC and a visit from Flip Theatre helped the children to see this in action. The school works hard to eradicate any form of bullying and will continue to do so. We encourage anyone to speak out against all forms of bullying and to report it as soon as it comes to light. As parents and carers you are very good at letting us know when your child has experienced any bullying and I hope that you see how hard we work as a school to make sure it is investigated and addressed properly. If for any reason you feel your child has experienced any form of bullying please report it immediately to their class teacher. Thank you for your support with this very important matter.

The word of the week is –  QUOCKERWODGER – a toy puppet; one whose strings are pulled entirely by someone else.
