Good Morning Year 2,
Think back to our story about Supertato. Write a letter to Supertato from one of the vegetables asking for help. What did the Evil Pea do to you? What did he do in the supermarket? How did he make you feel? Why do want Supertato to come to the rescue? You can do this on paper or in Purple Mash in 2CreateaStory.
This weeks words
clothes, nicest, braver, hardest, larger, tidier, happiest, funnier, silliest, cold
Keep practicing and on Friday there will be a 2do in Purple Mash to check how well you have done.
White Rose have designed a series of 5 lessons for home learning this week.
Watch the video for day 2 and if you can, print out the worksheet and answer the questions. I have also assigned a game on Education City that links to this.
If you cannot go online keep working on your maths pack.
Answer the questions about chapter 1 of Anna and the Leaf on Purple Mash. If you cannot go online, read your reading book or another book from home. Don’t forget about this website for e-books https://collins.co.uk/pages/big-cat-ebooks
Have a look at this work by Kandinsky, Squares with Concentric circles. Your task today is to make your own piece similar to this. Use a variety of warm and cool colours. Make each circle on its own separate square (either make a grid by folding paper or use individual squares of paper). Your parent’s can email your final piece to me. It’s okay if you cannot finish this in one day.
