Writing:

LO: To devise a character and describe how they are feeling

In this lesson, children will think about items they own: are there any that feel neglected? Overworked? Misused? Children will choose one of their belongings and devise a character inspired by the crayons from ‘The Day the Crayons Quit’. Children will draw a picture of their character, describe how they are feeling and write a speech bubble using an emotion word.
