Headteacher’s Newsletter – Friday 9th September 2022 – Autumn 1

QUEEN ELIZABETH II – 21st April 1926 – 8th September 2022 RIP – Yesterday afternoon Queen Elizabeth II died peacefully at her residence in Balmoral. We stand alongside the rest of the country as we mourn her passing and think of her and her family during this most difficult time. May she rest in peace. GOD SAVE THE QUEEN.

Welcome back to the start of the new school year. It was lovely to see the children return to school on Monday full of enthusiasm and looking smart in their uniforms. They have settled incredibly well in to their new routines and have begun to establish relationships with their class teachers. Meet the teacher meetings take place on MONDAY and TUESDAY next week so please make every effort to attend. Tea and coffee will be served from 8:30am in the hall and we look forward to welcoming you.

The word of the week is – FINIFUGAL – regretting the end of something, such as a good book or the end of summer.
