Headteacher’s Newsletter – Friday 7th July 2023 – Summer 10
We head in to the last full week of term knowing that our annual summer holiday is on the horizon. Year 6 have been singing their hearts out in preparation for their end of year production and the children who are members of the Gardening Club are hoping to win a few awards at next week’s annual Vegfest. Your child will meet their new teacher next Thursday at the yearly Transition Day and annual reports will be sent to families next Friday. There is a lot going on! This week almost every class has been in sporting action or out on a trip despite the two strike days and the good weather has returned. I wrote to you all last week regarding school uniform. There has been an improvement and some of you have come to speak to me about the problems you face with uniform. Thank you. Yet that said there are still many children who come to school in the incorrect uniform. The lost property mountain continues to grow which is always a concern at this time of year. Your child will continue to grow even though it is the end of the academic year. Please send your child to school in the correct uniform. Thank you for your continued support with this important matter.
The word of the week is – QUISQUILLIOUS – an adjective for utter rubbish

I am sure that you will join me in congratulating them for being true Parkside ambassadors. Thank you children and very well done.
