Headteacher’s Newsletter – Friday 7th January 2022 – Spring 1

THERE HAVE BEEN NO RECORDED CASES OF CORONA VIRUS REPORTED AT PARKSIDE COMMUNITY PRIMARY SCHOOL THIS WEEK

A happy new year to you all. I hope that you all had a happy and peaceful Christmas. The children returned on Thursday and it was lovely to see them all. A few new starters joined the our Nursery this week and we welcome those children and their families to the Parkside community. The cold weather has arrived and I cannot stress highly enough the importance of sending your child in to school with a school sweatshirt and a warm coat.  Please, please, please can you make sure that you put your child’s name on their belongings. The ever growing mountain of lost property continues to reach new heights on a weekly basis and there are many children who have unclaimed items of uniform sitting in the lost property bin outside my office. If you have lost an item of uniform you might just find it in in the lost property bin. Please come and look and don’t forget to check the school calendar for this term’s dates. Thank you.

Tea, coffee and bacon rolls will be on offer so all you need to do is turn up and be willing to lend a hand.
