The beginning of October always signals the end of the long days and the hint of winter just around the corner, yet life continues to chunter on at great pace. This week’s newsletter will be much shorter than normal. We were very excited to learn on Thursday morning that the children in Year 6 will take part in this year’s Children in Need . They will join other children to from part of a school’s choir on the evening, so watch this space for further updates.
The Word of the Week is – BIBBLE – to drink often; to eat and/or drink noisily.
FAMILY LEARNING CONFERENCES – Our Parents/Carers consultations / Family Learning Conferences take place on Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th of October. Your child will invite you to the conference and prepare a form which will tell you what’s going well for them but also where they need to improve. Your child will be at the centre of the meeting and will lead you through their learning before the class teacher offers an update. Appointments will go live on Teachers2Parents on Monday.
