THERE HAVE BEEN NO CASES OF CORONAVIRUS RECORDED THIS WEEK AT PARKSIDE COMMUNITY PRIMARY SCHOOL
Winter has well and truly arrived this week and temperatures have begun to reflect the season! It is incredibly important that you send your child in to school with a warm coat. Please make sure that their name is easily identifiable on the on the inside lining. The annual Christmas performance will take place next week and will be very different from our usual productions. Children in the Early Years and Key Stage 1 will put on a shortened version of the nativity story and a Christmas themed production. Children in Year 3 and 4 are busy rehearsing a range of Christmas songs and carols which will also be filmed. All of the productions will be embedded on to the school website in the last week of term for everyone to enjoy. The cold weather is set to be with us over the next few weeks so please stay warm and safe and observe the guidance we all have to follow in the continued fight against the spread of Coronavirus.
The word of the week is – CULF – The loose feathers that come out of a mattress or cushion—and which “adhere to the clothes of any one who has lain upon it,” (Cornwall)
