Headteacher’s Newsletter – Friday 3rd September – Autumn 1

Welcome back to the start of a new academic year and a very warm welcome to all of our new families who have joined us. It was lovely to see the children and staff on Thursday morning and judging by the way they looked at assembly, everyone seemed very happy to be back but more importantly to be together as a school once again. Everyone has begun to settle in to their new routines and life feels as if it has slowly begun to return to normal. The doors to the school will continue to open at 8:30am for the foreseeable future. We invite you all back on to the school site from 3:10pm to collect your child. Those of you who have children in different year groups will be able to collect them from your youngest child’s classroom at the end of the day. It was lovely to see the children looking smart in their uniforms this week. Please make sure that the standards we set at the beginning of the year continue through to July.
If for any reason you would like to speak to your child’s classteacher they can be reached via email which you will receive at the forthcoming ‘Meet the Teacher’ meetings.

We look forward to working closely with you over the year ahead and to continue developing our positive relationships for the good of the school and most importantly for the good of your child.

The word of the week is – FECKFUL – full of efficiency and vigour. The opposite of ‘feckless’.
