Headteacher’s Newsletter – Friday 29th January 2021 – Spring 3

We head in to the fourth week of the half term knowing that the lockdown restrictions remain in place until at least March 8th. As a school we understand the difficulties and the many challenges that you are facing as families. We are here to do everything we can to support you through the next few weeks as much as we can. We have received a number of requests from families who have asked if there is a space for their child at school. Unfortunately we are not in a position to accept any more children at school currently. It is a situation that is constantly under review but due to the constraints placed on everyone we must all play our part in stopping the spread of the virus. Our remote learning provision is in place and can be found by clicking the link – https://parkside.herts.sch.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/REMOTE-LEARNING-PROVISION-JAN-21.pdf
Stay safe.

The word of the week is – CIRCUMLOCATIONIST – one who consistently speaks in a roundabout way in order to avoid addressing a question directly.

STATIONERY PACKS – There are still a number of families who have yet to collect their stationery packs. Unfortunately we are not in the position to drop them to your homes but please make every effort to collect your pack in the next week. A lot of time money and effort went in to making them. Thank you.
