Headteacher’s Newsletter – Friday 25th June 2021 – Summer 10

There are three weeks left of the academic year and the number of events in the diary seems to be growing by the week! The children enjoyed a great week of sport and dance thanks to the excellent organisation of events by Mr Wanless and Miss Bowers. The school received a very good report from Kelly Moss our Hertfordshire Improvement Partner yesterday. She took a ‘deep dive’ in to the teaching of Science and was impressed with the overall quality of the standards she found across the school. To receive such a good report at this time of year and during a Covid affected year proves how well the school is doing. None of this would have been possible without the children the dedication and hard work of the staff and the support from our parent/carer body.

The word of the week is – GIGGLEMUG – one who is perpetually and annoyingly cheery.

SPORTS WEEK PHOTOS & EXAMPLES OF CHILDREN’S WORK – We were very disappointed not to have parents and carers on site to watch the children take part in their individual sports days. I am sure that next year things will return to normal but in the mean time please enjoy some of the photos from the week. Thank you for your understanding.
