Headteacher’s Newsletter – Friday 20th May – Summer 5

The whole school is alive with excitement about Monday’s trip to watch the Changing of the Guard. Classes have already to start their activities for next week’s “Off the Curriculum Week” and teachers have planned a fantastic series of lessons for the children. It promises to be a great week to round off the half term. Coaches will leave at 9:15am sharp so if you are one of our families who struggle to be on time please make sure that you arrive in good time. Unfortunately if you are late we will leave without you.

We have had a number of incidents recently of parents/carers acting in an aggressive manner with staff. Whilst we will do everything we can to support your child and indeed yourselves, one thing we won’t tolerate is aggressive behaviour. We are a supportive and nurturing school, something I have been told by many families on many occasions and we will continue to fulfil our vision for your child by nurturing and inspiring them. Please remember that aggression only leads to disappointment. If you need to speak to your child’s class teacher for any reason please remember to make appointments through the school office. Thank you for your continued support with this very important issue.

The word of the week is – FANFRELUCHING – jumping aimlessly from one thing to another.
