Headteacher’s Newsletter – Friday 17th December 2021 – Autumn 15

And so we come to the end of another year, the like of which we have never seen before. I would like to thank you for your understanding regarding the earlier than expected closure of the school today. Decisions of this nature are never taken lightly and are done in conjunction with the senior leaders and governing body. We must continue to do everything we can to mitigate for the spread of the disease especially since there has been a rapid spread of the Omicron variant in recent days. It was wonderful to see the children sing and act this week as they took to the stage to perform their Christmas productions. I was incredibly proud of each and everyone of them. Thank you children. All that is left for me to say is to wish you all a happy and peaceful Christmas and a wonderful New Year. Thank you for your continued support, your incredible generosity and understanding over the past 12 months. We have been through a lot of highs and lows but we can safely say that there has not been another year quite like it in living memory. You are a wonderful community and I am very proud to be the headteacher of such a wonderful school.
