Headteacher’s Newsletter – Friday 10th September – Autumn 2
It has been a very eventful first full week of term. Teachers have continued to get to know their classes and set boundaries for the children. It has been lovely to welcome the children to school first thing in the morning and to talk to one or two of you at the end of the day. If for any reason you need to contact a member of staff please email your child’s class teacher or make an appointment through the school office. There were a number of children who wore the incorrect PE kit to school this week. Children should wear black trainers (where possible) black shorts and or non branded black or blue jogging bottoms and a white t-shirt. It is important that the children wear the correct uniform because it sets the standards we want at Parkside and develops the school’s vision of – nurturing and inspiring young minds towards a bright future.
The word of the week is – IMPRESCIENCE – a total lack of foresight and foreknowledge
