Headteacher’s Newsletter – Friday 10th November 2023 – Autumn 9
This weekend sees the annual Armistice day service at the Cenotaph. We remember the many thousands of men and women who gave their lives in defence of the country. If your child hasn’t bought a poppy or one of the gifts that are on sale in the office next week will be the last time to do this. Mr Wanless met with a professional photographer on Friday to organise a forthcoming photo shoot which will take place in the next couple of weeks. He will take a number of pictures of the children at work and play which will be used as part of the new website. Watch this space. Many of our children have taken part in sporting action this week and thoroughly enjoyed taking part in their football and netball matches. Thank you children for representing the school so well. As the wet weather continues to be with us please remember to label your child’s clothing so that it is easily identifiable.
The word of the week is – NIKHEDONIA – the pleasure felt in anticipating success
THE BIG QUESTION – Would you rather live without the internet or television?
Try discussing this question with your child to help them think about developing their thinking skills.
