Headteacher’s Newsletter – Friday 10th June 2022 – Summer 7

There is one week left until our Summer Fayre and we hope that you are all as excited as the children and staff about the event. The final plans  are taking shape and there is still time for you to lend a hand. Nadia the Chair of the PFA is looking for volunteers to run stalls, help set up and tidy things away or to support in any way you can. Please email her at pfaparkside@outlook.com Events of this nature rely heavily on parental and carer support so please make every effort to help. The last half term of the academic year is always packed with events so make sure you keep abreast of dates. Mrs Conway will be sending out a list of dates in the next couple of days so please make sure you keep it safe. Next Friday is Sports Day for the children and Mr Wanless will be sending out a letter regarding the arrangements early next week. You are all welcome to come and support your child for this very important annual event. Thank you to everyone who donated a bottle for bottle stall for next week’s Summer Fayre, your donations were gratefully received.

The word of the week is – CORRUMP– (14th century) to destroy something morally, or bring it down to nothing.

There were 20 children from 14 families who came late to school last week on 27 occasions. Unfortunately it is only a small number of the same families who make up this number, so if you are struggling with your morning routine please contact the school.

PUNCTUALITY IS NOT JUST LIMITED TO ARRIVING AT A PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME, IT IS ABOUT TAKING ATIONS AT THE RIGHT TIME.
