Welcome to Reception

A very warm welcome to Reception Fir and Pine!

Please have a look at our curriculum letter to see what we will be learning about this term.  Please note that this year the Reception children will need to come to school in their PE kit on Tuesdays. This should be a white t-shirt, plain black joggers, plimsolls and a school jumper. They will also need to make sure they bring a named bottle of water to school each day

Below is the homework grid for this term based on the learning we are doing in class.  We expect the children to complete at least 3 pieces of homework each half term.  We would love to see any completed homework and you can upload this via Tapestry.

Thank you for your continued support,

Ms Chandler and Miss Hemsworth

Welcome back Reception

The team in EYFS have been working incredibly hard to ensure the return to school for our Reception children is as safe as possible, below they have attached 2 short videos detailing what to expect come Monday morning. Having seen the videos, I might even have to come down and have a play in the outside learning space.

Virtual PE lessons

Good Morning everyone,

I have been trying to explore websites in search of different ways in which we can keep active during this time and I know Joe Wicks has been very popular but sometimes it’s good to give your brain a break from the same thing every day. So below is a link to a website which goes through a list of amazing virtual PE resources that can help you find ways to bust some moves in the great indoors.
