Able Maths Day
Parkside hosted a Maths Workshop on Wednesday 26th February for able mathematicians from years 3 and 4. We were joined by children from several local primary schools for a day full of exciting problem solving activities. The workshop was led by Pete Hall, one of the UK’s leading maths tutors, who has been involved in many primary maths projects nationally and internationally. The day was intended to give those children who are working at a high level the opportunity to take part in greater depth challenges and promote teamwork.
All the children were a credit to the school in terms of behaviour and hard work.
