Fire Brigade Visits Parkside School!

July 4, 2025/in General News/by Mark Pedrasa

Year 1 and 2 had a very exciting day this week when our local fire brigade visited the school!

The firefighters spoke to the children about fire safety, showed them the equipment they use, and even let the pupils explore the fire engine. The children were thrilled to try on helmets, hear the siren, try out the fire hose and learn how to stay safe in an emergency. A huge thank you to the local firefighters for such an educational and memorable experience!

Magic Meets Road Safety at Parkside

July 4, 2025/in General News/by Mark Pedrasa

Today, our pupils were treated to a magical surprise!

David’s Tricks came to Parkside Primary with an incredible magic show—all with an important message about road safety. Using mind-blowing tricks and fun audience participation, David helped the children learn how to STOP, LOOK, LISTEN, and THINK before crossing the road.

The show was packed with laughter, amazement, and most importantly, life-saving lessons. Our pupils had a fantastic time and left feeling smarter—and safer—about the world around them.

A huge thank you to David for making learning about road safety so unforgettable!
