Butterfly Squad

May 10, 2024/in General News/by Mark Pedrasa

I have attached a letter for all our families with children in Year 1-6 regarding the Butterfly Squad where we have been chosen as one of the 100 schools in the country to take part in this latest Mental Health program.

Butterfly Squad is for all children in years 1-6 and will lay a strong cognitive foundation for the rest of their lives.  Children are being given the gift of being in charge of their own emotions, choices, actions, reactions and feelings, creating powerful ninjas of their own minds and having the knowledge and power to be able to call on these tools and use them to make their own changes for life.

This Mental Health programme has been written under Ofsted’s 8 principles criteria for Mental Health, which has been taught in schools for the last 13 years and across the whole windscreen of need with outstanding impact.

Below is the letter, where you will have to sign up for free.

Mental Health and wellbeing is so important to all of us and I am very committed to ensuring our children’s happiness is at the core of everything we try to achieve here at Parkside.
